It always comes down to something relatively simple.
At least that is what happened for veteran cornerback Tre'Davious White.
After becoming a free agent, he visited a slew of teams before he landed on the Los Angeles Rams. White would sign a one-year deal with the Rams, and the reason Los Angeles is now home comes down to feeling at home when he visited.
"I felt like it was a good fit," White said via the Rams' official website. "We hit it off, it was very authentic, which is what I was looking for, being a guy that had been in the league for a while. Great staff, young group, a group of guys that's willing to work, so I'm looking forward to it."
White won't be hitting the field right away. His first order of business is continuing the rehab process for the torn Achilles he suffered against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 of the 2023 season.
So as he prepares to rebuild his image in Los Angeles, his main concern is letting Rams fans know that the only thing he cares about is playing football.
"It's all about ball, all about getting better each and every day, and trying to motivate my teammates," White said. "Not really by what I say, but what I do, because I feel like the routine that I've developed over the last seven years has been something that's helped me along the way."
