Former Texans DB visited an AFC South rival
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Texans could have to face a player who spent ten years with the franchise twice a year.

With the news of Kareem Jackson taking a free agency visit with divisional rival the Indianapolis Colts

The Texans drafted Jackson with the 20th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He stayed with the Texans for nine seasons, appearing in 132 games and had 16 interceptions. He would move on from the Texans in 2019 when he joined the Denver Broncos, where he remained for the next five seasons.

In December of last year, the Broncos waived the defensive back, allowing the Texans to claim him off waivers. Reuniting Jackson and the Texans for two games last season in which he logged 39 defensive snaps. Now, he is a free agent and has taken a visit with the Colts. This visit is extra intriguing when you look at the Colts' need at both safety and corner, given Jackson's experience playing both positions.

Jackson will be 36 years old when next season begins, so I don't think the Texans would lose any sleep if he chose to sign with Indianapolis. But It's safe to say fans will find it very strange if they have to see a longtime Texan like Jackson suit up in a Colts jersey.
