Bouncing around again...
What's good YB family? I hope everyone is doing well. I still can't believe the last video I put up. How Todd knocked off that Gatorade bottle in his first try, I'll never understand.
Amway, things with me have been great for the most part, just crazy busy. So far in the New Year I've been to ATL, AZ, Vegas, NJ, Philly, Virginia, DC, Baltimore, and Orlando in a few days. It's been a lot of jumping around, but it has definitely been productive, so I'm not complaining.
This weekend should be a lot of fun. The US team is headed down to Orlando to play against Duke. It will be a lot of fun to b able to get back together with some of the guys from the team in 06', as well as the new players added to the team. I'm definitely looking forward to getting back on the field against some college players and getting up and down a bit. It will be nice to get some live game action in, as I've been waiting to play competitively for a good 4 months now.
I've got about 3 weeks left before my move out to California, and I'm starting to get pretty excited. The drive across the country should actually be a lot of fun as well. We're stopping in Ohio, St. Louis, Denver, Utah, Vegas, and then headed into California. I've never done anything like that before, so I'm definitely starting to get jacked up about it. I'm sure I'll complain for a good part of the trip, but in the end, I'm sure I'll look back on the drive and be happy that I did it.
I had one of our Run N' Gun camps yesterday in Baltimore on MLK day and it was definitely a good one. Two of my boys Benson Erwin and Brett Hughes came and worked it with me, and my parents came, and other family members came through and hung out for a while as well, so it was definitely a good day. I've got to take a video of camp dodge ball, because it very well may be the funniest thing in the world to watch. The kids split into two teams, just like regular dodge ball, keep their equipment on, and toss tennis balls at each other! It doesn't hurt when you get hit with a tennis ball and you've got pads on, but it makes a loud sound, especially when you catch one in the helmet., and the kid usually dos some type of overly dramatic fall (and is laughing the whole time). I actually broke my nose last year at camp playing, which wasn't too much fun. But it wasn't from being hit from a ball, a kid and I collided and he had on a helmet, and I didn't?it happens.
Anyone seen the new Kat Williams, Tracy Morgan, and Ice Cube movie? Looks pretty funny to me, I'm definitely going to check it out this weekend if I get time in Orlando.
The video I've attached is me being stupid while we had a little down time at the shoot we had a few weeks ago?
That's about all I got for now. If you live in the Orlando area, definitely get out to the game this weekend, it's definitely going to be some good lacrosse. And if you are able to make it, make sure to say hello!
As always, feel free to shoot me lacrosse questions, and I'll dedicate a whole blog to your answer!
Have a great rest of the week?
KH
