Weekend Recap
Ayo! What's good everybody? I apologize for the delay in writing, but I've had a bad fever for a few days, and I tweaked my back in a little bit in the game on Sunday against Duke. On Sunday, I had the honor of representing our country and plying for team USA against Duke in an exhibition game down at Disney in Orlando. It's an incredible feeling putting on that jersey, jogging out on to the field and seeing USA on your chest. It's something words can't describe; it's something you dream about as a little kid. Unfortunately, leading up to the game on Sunday I had a fever and felt absolutely miserable! I slept more or less the whole morning and the beginning of the afternoon, then got up and joined my team for pre-game warm ups and got it going a bit. It's always nice to play with such talented players. I love watching all those guys play, and when I'm fortunate enough to play with them, I try to pick up as much from them as I can. There was a great crowd down in Orlando and I think both teams put on a good show for them. Duke did a great job getting up and down the field and scored some exciting transition goals, and we (USA) were able to generate some exciting offense, had some great defense and some amazing goalie play by Mike Levine and Chris Garrity. We were able to come out on top, but more importantly, the fans had a great time, and it was a great weekend for lacrosse and spreading the game in an area like Orlando. I had a flight back home early Monday morning, and it's pretty much been packing ever since. I start my drive across the country next Thursday (7th), so I'm just trying to pack up and move out of my house and get everything else done before I go. From getting my eye's checked, to getting my car checked out, to sending boxes out to California, and all kinds of other stuff. I've never really had a big move before, and this is way more stressful then I was ready for. I guess I can't complain though, it will be a good experience. Me and my boy Brett whose moving out there with me, are both sponsored by STX (which I've said before, I know) and they created a promotional poster since we'll be stopping in different cities for signings, clinics and such. The idea was to really capture both me and Brett's personalities, and I think they did an amazing job. It's pretty funny, and I'll post it tomorrow at some point. Heard First Sunday was HILARIOUS! And I still haven't seen it yet, not happy about it. I'm jacked up to JUMPER as well as step up 2….. You know what else I saw the other day that was hilarious that I wish I had seen earlier was Wild Hog's. That was hilarious! When that dude pulled up his sleeve and had an apple tattoo, I lost it. And when they came up with that awful plan at the end I was dying to. Alright alright, I know it's an old movie, leave me alone. Oh yeah, the first 4 or 5 American Idol shows each season have to be the funniest shows of the year on television. Some of these cats who get up here and try to sing are out of control! The dude that sang Wade in the Water the first episode is still by far my favorite, but there have definitely been some other funny ones as well. I'm watching it right now and I've laughed so much I've got a stomachache, what a great show. That's all I got for now, I've got to get a few more things packed up and get in bed, it's going to be a long day tomorrow. I'll make sure to post that poster tomorrow make sure to take a look at that, it's entertaining. Talk to you soon! Kyle

It was a pretty big thing for us down here, we never really get to see games. The kids went crazy when you threw your gear out! Do you know if there doing it next year?
Thanks again,
Scott
