Time is Flying!!
YB! What's good? Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with their families! Mine down in ATL was incredible. Anyone else feel like time is flying by?! It's already December! Feels like summer just ended a few days ago, but It's crazy think Christmas is in a few weeks, then we'll be into 2009, then before I know it, the season will be starting again! Being down in ATL also reminded me of how absolutely crazy it is to see how fast my niece is growing! She's almost three (Jan 16), and is hilarious! She told my sister on a number of occasions to "stop being frustrated" and woke me up every morning doing her hair in the mirror! What kind of 3 year old does her hair every morning! She can speak spanish as well, which is definitely going to be useful one day. My only concern is her infatuation with Beyonce and her dancing, but I'll let that slide for now. Down in ATL I had a clinic one day at Milton High School for the afternoon with both boys and girls middle school teams, and boys and girls high school teams afterwards. I love doing clinics down in ATL, the kids are so nice and hard working. On Friday after Thanksgiving, I had an in store autograph signing at Lax World down there. I thought it would be super slow being the Friday after Thanksgiving, but I got to meet some great people and we had a great time in there. Any thoughts on the new Kanye or Luda? I wasn't really feeling Kanye the first time I listened to it all the way through, but it's definitely growing on me. Just a different vibe then I'm used from him, but it's definitely getting some airtime on the Ipod. Digging the new Luda! Last of a Dying Breed with Weezy is near the top of my play list right now. Loving that song, especially Luda's last verse. Any thoughts on either? Ok, so, as I said, I apologize on my delayed Bond review, but here we go. Now, I'm not a HUGE Bond fan as it is. I don't dislike it, but I've never been a big fan, and I definitely haven't seen all the movies. Brett loves it (roommate) so he was all fired up. The action was GREAT and dude is definitely bad. I wasn't too into the story line, but I guess you don't go to Bond movies for the story line. All in all, it was entertaining, but I'm not sure it's getting scooped up when it comes out on DVD. Speaking of DVD's, I'm pumped to pick up WANTED tomorrow. DIdn't love that story line either, but Angelina's in it, and the action was on point, so I'll be picking that up ASAP. Anyone catch Roses cross over in the Bulls game last night? Haven't seen one like that in a minute. If you didn't catch it, make sure to head to Youtube real quick and get a look at that. I really like that Luda song that's out right now "One More Drink." When I first heard it I thought it was a sweet romantic song, but then I actually listened to the lyrics.... anyway, still a good song.... I like the few Kanye songs that I've heard but I haven't listened to the whole album.
