Busy Week!
YB! Hope the week is going well.
Anyone catch Lebron and Dwade last night? Those two are out of control! I feel like we haven't seen a battle like that, where two cats go at it all game long and both put up numbers like that (42 points and 41 points). The dunks, the steals, blocked shots (play where Lebron turned it over, ran Dwade down and pinned it against the glass), the 3 point shooting, it was absolutely out of control.
Well, I've got all kinds of exciting news to report. For starters, I went down to Newport today to meet with Chris Saturnio (head of R&D at STX) to see the first round of the new K18 line (released this coming fall), and it was headed the right direction! This is only the first round of 3 (before the final product) and I couldn't be more excited. Digging the color ways, and I think all you lacrosse fans out there will dig the line as well, so keep a look out for more updates!
The 80 guys selected to try out for the National Team were announced a few days ago, and I was fortunate enough to be included in that list of guys. It's going to be a competitive try out with out a doubt in June, but it's an honor to be invited, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to get up Rhode Island this summer and get after it with all of the other invitees.
I've got to do a little color commentary for ESPN U tomorrow and that should be interesting/entertaining with out a doubt! I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to keep a straight face and not laugh when I've got to do the opening. Pretty sure I won't be able to, but I'm going to give it a shot. At the very least, it'll be hilarious when I get to watch the play back of it.
STX has created a fan page on Facebook, so when you get a chance, definitely check out some of the content on the page! From new equipment (custom equipment as well), to behind the scenes videos on the most recent team STX photo shoot, there's a lot of good stuff on there. The link is below, so check it out if you've got some extra time!

I haven't caught as much college lacrosse as I'd like to this year as I've been traveling a fair amount the past few weeks. Heard my Hop boys had a rough go at it against Princeton, but they'll bounce back, it's early in the season. Their actually playing UMBC (where my little cousin Maxx plays) as I'm writing this, and my Mama is giving me updates and it's 3-1 Hopkins. The past few years this has been a tight game, so, I'm interested to see who comes out on top. I'd love to see my cousin do his thing, but at the end of the day, I got to pull for my Blue Jays to come up with a W.
That's about all I got for now, just excited for the weekend to get here as I don't have to travel for once in awhile, and I'm thinking about hitting up California Adventures and getting on some rides. Haven't been on a roller coaster in a minute, I hope I don't get shook and not do it. That'd be embarrassing.
Now that summer is becoming a bit clearer on where I'll be playing, I'm starting to finalize all of my camp dates, so once I do, I'll be sure to throw them up on here as well!
That's about all I got for now, time to go shoot a few hoops and get ready to relax for the evening.
I'll catch up with you all later this week,
Kyle
